Usdaw’s Magazine,
Network, is sent out exclusively to Union reps six times a year and gives in-depth information on every aspect of the Union’s work.
It keeps reps up-to-date with all the news on workers’ rights, pensions, health and safety, employment law; campaign news on Lifelong Learning, Membership Weeks, Freedom From Fear, Supporting Parents and Carers and information on the Union’s political activity.
It also includes; interviews with reps on how they go about their recruitment and organising role, coverage of all of the Union’s national conferences, and details the training courses open to both experienced and inexperienced activists.
The first issue of 2021 is out now celebrating exceptional Usdaw reps; campaign updates on Freedom From Fear and Saving Our Shops; a guide to the proposed change to contribution rates; there’s a focus on universal credit and parenting during the pandemic; alongside the regular lifelong learning, recruitment and health and safety news.
