Usdaw seeks urgent meeting with AAH Pharmaceuticals to seek assurances for members following McKesson announcement

Date: 07 July 2021 Usdaw, the trade union for workers at the McKesson-owned AAH Pharmaceuticals is seeking an urgent meeting with the company after they today announced the sale of their businesses in France, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Belgium, and Slovenia along with a commitment to ‘explore strategic alternatives’ for all remaining businesses in the UK, Norway, Austria, and Denmark.
Daniel Adams - Usdaw National Officer says: “Following the news of this potentially major upheaval, we have contacted the business for an urgent meeting to better understand the implications on the UK businesses.

“Although there is nothing concrete at this stage regarding the UK businesses it will nevertheless be an unsettling time for members who have been in the frontline in the battle against coronavirus.  Usdaw will therefore be seeking assurances on future plans and in relation to jobs, along with members’ terms and conditions.”
