Getting involved in the Labour Party is easy.
The first thing to do is to
join the Labour Party.
Once you’re a member of the Labour Party you can go along to meetings, get involved and share what Usdaw is up to locally.
See our
guide to Labour Party meetings.
The Labour Party has a lot of different structures, and parts, including Young Labour for under-27s, different regions, LGBT Labour, BAME Labour, Labour Women’s Network and Disability Labour. If you’re interested and want to find out more about how the Party works then contact us
politics@usdaw.org.uk
Your local Usdaw branch can link with the local Labour Party formally and send delegates to meetings.
Check out our leaflet on
how your branch can link to the Labour Party and the
affiliation form.
If you’re a member who’s interested in joining our team of activists and getting involved in our political campaigning let us know and we’ll be in touch! Join the team.
Full training will be given and when out campaigning you will always be part of a group.
