Usdaw announces the first 24-hour stoppage at Scotbeef following an 80% vote in favour of industrial action

Usdaw members working at Scotbeef will hold their first 24-hour stoppage on Tuesday 19 December, after rejecting the most recent offer of a 1.7% pay rise linked to changes in break entitlements. The industrial action will affect Scotbeef workplaces in East Kilbride and Queenslie in Glasgow.

Usdaw members working at Scotbeef have voted by 81.2% to take industrial action after the company failed to make an acceptable pay offer. The most recent offer of a 1.7% pay rise linked to a change in break entitlements was rejected by a significant majority of the membership.
