Universal Credit – Ask your MP to vote against the cut

At the end of this month, Universal Credit and Working Tax Credit payments are due to be cut by £20 per week.

The extra £20 that has been in place since the start of the pandemic has been a real lifeline for millions of families. Now the Government is going to take this essential cash away from people who still desperately need it.

It’s not too late for the Government to do the right thing and cancel the cut.

The Labour Party will be forcing a vote in Parliament on Wednesday. We are asking you to email your MP to ask them to vote against the cuts.

The information you provide on the email may be shared with your MP and/ or Government. The data that we collect about you in the email will be stored securely and will only be retained for the duration of the campaign. For further information see Usdaw’s Privacy Notice.
