Retail trade union Usdaw has a delegation of reps and officials attending the annual Trades Union Congress (TUC) annual women’s conference in London, starting on Wednesday 8 March, which is International Women’s Day. The union will be calling for action to end sexual harassment and highlighting how the cost of living crisis has impacted women.

Labour announces workplace support for women with menopause – Usdaw welcomes the ground-breaking policy

Retail trade union Usdaw has welcomed today’s policy announcement by Labour to require large firms to set out Menopause Action Plans detailing how they are supporting women with menopause at work. The policy forms part of Labour’s offer to working women, with one in ten aged 45-55 having left their jobs due to menopausal symptoms.
