Following the Chancellor, Jeremy Hunt’s announcement in his Autumn Statement on 22^nd November 2023, those in receipt of a State pension will receive an increase of 8.5% from April 2024.

The Chancellor has confirmed that Government will honour the triple lock guarantee in full, which will take the new single tier pension up to £221.20 a week, £11,502.40 a year.
