Usdaw continues the struggle for equality at the TUC Women's Conference

This week Usdaw delegates are gathering with hundreds of other trade union activists for the TUC Women’s Conference at Congress House to promote equality and fight discrimination. Usdaw is raising concerns at the conference about misogyny and abuse directed at women, sexual harassment and the impact on women of poor public transport.

Equal Pay Day 2019: Usdaw calls for a £10 an hour minimum wage to help close the gender pay gap - only Labour will deliver

Shopworkers’ trade union Usdaw is calling for concerted efforts to tackle hate crimes as today’s Home office figures show that police recorded incidents of race hate crime have jumped 11% over the last 12 months in England and Wales and overall hate crime is up by 10%.

TUC LGBT+ Conference: Usdaw tackles hate crime and hate speech

Shopworkers’ trade union Usdaw has a delegation of members attending the Trades Union Congress (TUC) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Plus (LGBT+) Conference, where they will be tackling deep concerns about a significant growth in hate crimes and hate speech. The conference takes place in Congress House, London and starts tomorrow.

TUC's 'This Is Not Working' campaign - tackling sexual harassment - welcomed and supported by Usdaw

Shopworkers’ trade union Usdaw has welcomed a new TUC campaign to tackle sexual harassment in the workplace. The ‘This Is Not Working’ campaign calls on the Government to take immediate action with a new, easily enforceable legal duty requiring employers to take all reasonable steps to protect workers from sexual harassment and victimisation.

IDAHOTB 2019: Usdaw shares TUC concerns over sexual harassment of LGBT workers

The Trades Union Congress (TUC) has today launched a report about the sexual harassment of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people at work, to coincide with the annual International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOTB) on 17 May.
