The Retail Prices Index (RPI) rate dipped slightly to 11.4% and has now been in double-digits for over a year, the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) also fell to 8.7%. Protect the right to strike! Tomorrow’s increase in the so-called National Living Wage to £10.42 an hour doesn’t meet Usdaw’s call for at least £12 per hour immediately, as a step to £15, or the real living wage rate of £10.90.
